Wake Watch is a valuable resource for boaters seeking information on no wake zones, boating speed limits, and bridge details. The app provides comprehensive maps for no wake zones and boating speed limits in Florida, North Carolina, and Connecticut, along with bridge heights and opening schedules in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, and Connecticut.

Using your GPS location, Wake Watch tracks your boat on the map to alert you about upcoming bridges and no wake zones on your route. The app also allows for the use of NOAA boating charts as the base map.

This tool is essential for recreational boaters navigating waters in Florida or heading south for the winter along the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW). Navigating Florida's waterways can be challenging due to numerous no wake zones and limited bridge openings, which can result in significant delays. Wake Watch helps boaters stay informed and plan their journeys effectively.

The app covers all waterways in Florida, including the ICW, bays, inlets, canals, and key areas such as the Okeechobee Waterway and New River. It provides information sourced from NOAA charts, state and federal Manatee Protection Zones, Boating Safety Zones, among others. Additionally, Wake Watch extends its coverage up to Chesapeake Bay in Virginia, encompassing coastal waters and rivers.

Users can access tide station information within the app, displaying daily high and low tide times as well as tidal heights for each station. Furthermore, Wake Watch now includes NOAA Coastal Waters Forecasts that offer wave height forecasts up to five days in advance. The option to utilize NOAA Raster Nautical Charts as background maps is also available.

The latest enhancement to the app includes speed and heading data for added convenience. In case of a primary GPS failure, users can rely on Wake Watch's NOAA Charts feature along with speed and heading information to ensure a seamless journey on the water.
